Meet Dr. Femi Fadahunsi

Femi Fadahunsi, DDS

Why Work With Dr. Femi?

After several years in practice and hundreds of hours of additional training, Dr. Femi knows that the most valuable skill he possesses is the ability to listen. Listening to patients is what makes it possible to understand the individual needs and oral health goals of each patient. Dr. Femi does not take a one size fits all approach to patient care. No two people are alike.  He takes the time to develop a relationship with his patients rather than telling them what they should want for themselves.  By doing this, he has been able to help people who say they hate the dentist understand that there is a dental team that can work from where they are and in time get them to where they want to be. Dr Femi keeps his team intentionally small. Each and every member is committed to prioritizing the care, comfort, and understanding of each patient. With Dr. Femi and his team, you are never treated like a number. If it is your first time in or you’ve been coming to our office for years, our goal is to make you feel at home every time you step through the door.

Friendly, Honest Dentistry

My wife always says I’ve never met a stranger, and that’s true. Dentistry allows me to meet new people every day and the best part is that I don’t just meet them once and move on: we have an opportunity to develop a relationship that can last for many years.

I chose to become a dentist because I, like many others, was self-conscious about my smile. Dentistry was able to improve the way I felt about myself. The impact that had on my confidence, and all parts of my life, was an experience I wanted to share with others.

I am grateful when I am able to make a lasting difference in the lives of my patients. Believe it or not, it means just as much to me as it does to my patients when I see them smile with confidence for the first time in many years, or see them free from pain that has been hindering their day-to-day life.

Being a dentist is, at the core, about helping others. Whether I am educating patients about oral health, supporting a person as they get past a very real fear of a procedure, or working with a patient to achieve and/or maintain their ideal smile - I know I'm helping. There is nothing more rewarding than that!

Education

Dentistry is always changing. You can be assured that I stay current with the latest techniques and technology, allowing patients to receive the best care possible and achieve long-lasting results.

I regularly attend post-graduate lectures and take courses on a wide range of dental topics in order to remain at the forefront of new options and research.

Giving Back

It's important to be active in the community you serve because that's where true change is fostered. When individuals and local businesses support each other, we become stronger and more close-knit.

I enjoy mentoring youth, regardless of their career aspirations. Choosing a life path can be overwhelming for young people and many benefit from having someone who can provide guidance by, answering questions and relating to their everyday experiences.

Beyond the Practice

Originally from Duncanville, TX and having lived and practiced in Memphis, TN for several years, I am excited to be back in Texas - in Wylie.

My wife Angela and I were married in 2013 and share our lives with two dogs, Champ and Gibson. We like to cook, entertain friends and family, travel when we can, and stay healthy.
